Uphold is set to conclude 2023 with a grand finale, organizing a giveaway of XRP tokens. The giveaway promises a substantial reward of 100,000 XRP for the luckiest participant, while an additional 25 individuals will each receive 1,000 XRP. To be eligible, traders must engage in a minimum of $20 worth of transactions on the platform, and the entry count is limitless.

This exclusive event is tailored for residents of the United States, continuing Uphold's trend of hosting such giveaways over the past months. This latest endeavor follows Ripple's collaboration with Uphold in October, aimed at enhancing cross-border payments. The partnership resulted in a surge of XRP trading on Uphold, briefly overshadowing the popularity of Bitcoin and Ether.

Closing 2023 with a Spectacular XRP Giveaway

Uphold, a cryptocurrency exchange based in New York, is gearing up for an exciting conclusion to the year by orchestrating another XRP giveaway. The company announced that one fortunate trader will walk away with an impressive 100,000 XRP, valued at approximately $63,000 based on current rates, while 25 users will each be granted 1,000 XRP.

Interested participants must engage in eligible trades amounting to at least $20 on the platform. Uphold emphasizes that there is no restriction on the number of entries one can accumulate, encouraging participants to trade more for better odds.

It is essential to note that the distribution of tokens is restricted to residents of the United States. Uphold previously introduced similar giveaways in October and November, offering 20,000 XRP and 50,000 XRP, respectively.

Uncertainty looms regarding the inclusion of New York and Florida residents in this December sweepstake, as the previous airdrops excluded these states.

Ripple's Collaborative Journey with Uphold

In late October, the blockchain enterprise supporting the XRP token joined forces with Uphold to fortify and enhance cross-border payments infrastructure. Simon McLoughlin, the CEO of the exchange, highlighted how the collaboration seamlessly combines the strengths of both entities to facilitate efficient crypto-to-fiat transfers and bank payouts.

Following this partnership, XRP garnered significant attention from Uphold customers, emerging as the most traded digital currency on the platform during the week of November 18 to November 25. Notably, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) were ranked fifth and eighth, respectively, during that period.
