FTX Case Resolved: NFL Quarterback Trevor Lawrence and YouTube Influencers Reach Settlement

NFL quarterback Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars, along with YouTube influencers Kevin Paffrath and Tom Nash, have come to an undisclosed resolution in the FTX cryptocurrency exchange legal matter. Meanwhile, BitBoy, another prominent figure in the crypto community, has been officially excused from the case.
With the impending trial defense for Sam Bankman-Fried in Manhattan, the three well-known endorsers have opted to settle their involvement in the FTX exchange controversy, according to official court filings. The specific details of the settlement agreement remain confidential, pending final approval from U.S. Judge K. Michael Moore.
In addition to Lawrence, Paffrath, and Nash, other notable personalities including Shaquille O’Neal, Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen, and Steph Curry have also faced legal actions for their association with FTX promotion. Legal representatives overseeing the case have indicated that ongoing confidential negotiations suggest a strong possibility of additional settlements in connection with FTX, as outlined in court documents.
Furthermore, the court records highlight the formal dismissal of crypto influencer Ben "BitBoy" Armstrong from the case. The filing specifies that Armstrong has not submitted a response or motion for summary judgment.
