Binance Delisting Update: It has come to our attention that on October 6th, Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, will be making some significant changes. In this announcement, we'll dive into the details.

Binance, known for its extensive array of trading pairs and outstanding performance metrics, is set to remove a total of 19 trading pairs from its platform. Mark your calendars for October 6th, as this is the day when these changes will take effect. The removal will occur in two phases:

Binance to Retire 19 Trading Pairs

1. At 05:00 (UTC) on October 6th, Binance will bid farewell to the following trading pairs: 1INCH/BUSD, AERGO/BUSD, ANKR/BUSD, DATA/BUSD, DIA/BUSD, ERN/BUSD, IOST/BUSD, KP3R/BUSD, LOKA/BUSD, LRC/BUSD.

2. At 07:00 (UTC) on the same day, Binance will wave goodbye to these pairs: LTO/BUSD, MDX/BUSD, OM/BUSD, POLYX/BUSD, RARE/BUSD, SLP/BUSD, SUSHI/BUSD, THETA/BUSD, YFI/BUSD.

You may wonder why these pairs are being delisted. While Binance hasn't provided specific reasons, they emphasize that regular reviews of all spot trading pairs are conducted to ensure a high-quality trading environment. Delisting decisions are influenced by factors such as liquidity and trading volume.

It's noteworthy that all of the affected trading pairs involve BUSD, a stablecoin that Binance plans to discontinue supporting starting in Q1 2024. Users are encouraged to convert their BUSD holdings into other assets before February 2024.

Further Insights

In addition to this, Binance wants to reassure users that the removal of these spot trading pairs will not affect the availability of these tokens on the Binance Spot platform. They can still be traded using other available trading pairs.

Lastly, a friendly reminder: users are strongly advised to update or cancel their Spot Trading Bots before Spot Trading Bot services come to a halt to prevent any potential losses.

So, while change is on the horizon for some trading pairs, rest assured that Binance remains committed to providing a secure and diverse trading experience for all its users. Stay tuned for more updates as we navigate these changes together.
