ATOM Upgrade: Binance Backs Cosmos Boost

Binance has pledged its support for the upcoming enhancement of the Cosmos (ATOM) network, as declared by the leading cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume. The upgrade is slated to take place at block height 18,262,000 on December 13.

In line with this development, Binance is set to enact a temporary pause on ATOM deposit and withdrawal services approximately one hour prior to the scheduled upgrade. The intention is to reinstate these services post-upgrade, contingent upon the stabilization of the network.

Binance stated, "Upon the completion of this network upgrade and the attainment of network stability, relevant token deposit and withdrawal services will be reinstated without further notice."

Despite the impending upgrade, ATOM's market response has been notably placid. Its current trading price hovers around $11, mirroring its valuation on December 12. Nonetheless, the token has displayed an upward trajectory in recent times, exhibiting an 11% weekly gain and an almost 20% increase over the preceding 14 days.
